Welcome to the St. Thomas website. If you are new to us, we hope this site serves as an introduction to our life, and an invitation to join us for one of our services or events. If you are a member we hope this will help you keep up with our common life.
The purpose of our life together is to discover and celebrate Christ in our midst, to invite all who desire into this household of faith, and to share with the world the good news of God. That good news is this: life has overcome death, God's mercy is stronger than our destructive tendencies, love is stronger than fear, and no one need to live in this world alone. We seek God's highest and best for our lives.
How do we find God's highest and best? St. Thomas has a reputation for engaging and beautiful worship, welcoming and inclusive spirit, and creative and caring outreach. We try to live up to this reputation every week.

Fr. Doug Hahn has been Rector of St. Thomas since 1999. Previously, he served parishes in Atlanta and Griffin, GA. His theological training is from Southern Theological Seminary, Emory University, General Seminary, and the University of the South, along with pastoral training at Baptist Hospital in New Orleans and the Pastoral Institute.
Outside St. Thomas, his work in Columbus has included many community and interfaith ministries, as well as the work of the wider diocese. He is the Dean of the Chattahoochee Valley Convocation of Episcopal Parishes (hence the title Very Rev.).
