Associate Rector for Pastoral Care
St. Thomas Episcopal Church is seeking an Episcopal priest or a clergy person from a denomination in full communion with the Episcopal Church to join our talented staff. The clergy person will assist the Rector and Pastoral Care Committee in caring for the spiritual, emotional, and practical needs of St. Thomas parishioners and others in the community, with an emphasis on equipping and supporting lay ministers in this work. The clergy person will also assist with worship and other aspects of congregational leadership, especially when the Rector is away. This is envisioned as a half-time position. If more hours are desired, the position may be expanded to 3/4 time and include work with the St. Thomas Outreach Council as part of St. Thomas’s care for the community.
