Goodwill Industries of the Southern Rivers Inc. (GoodwillSR) serves 50 counties in west Georgia and east Alabama. It's one of our region's top employers, providing free career services like job coaching, training, and GED prep. The primary goal of Goodwill SR is to provide individuals with the skills and job placement services they need to ensure advancement opportunities and sustainable careers.
These programs are made possible through the donations that are sold at Goodwill retail stores.
You're invited to join us behind the scenes at GoodwillSR on Friday, June 2 from 2:00-4:00 pm to learn about everything Goodwill does in our community!
St. Thomas parishioner Mitch Grossman, Vice President of Operations at GoodwillSR, will lead us through
a tour of the career center and the back of the
retail store.He and his colleagues will give us
insight into their e-commerce operation and the
wide-ranging mission of the organization.
