Serve
At St. Thomas, we believe faith is lived through service. Following the example of Jesus, we put our faith into action by caring for one another, serving our neighbors, and sharing God’s love in tangible ways.
Find Your Place to Serve
Our members serve in worship, teach children and youth, care for our campus, serve on ministry teams and committees, and help create the welcoming community that makes St. Thomas feel like home. We also care for one another through meals, prayers, visits, and support during times of joy, grief, and transition. Beyond our walls, we partner with schools, nonprofits, and community organizations to seek justice, care for creation, and meet the needs of our neighbors.
Ministry Signups
Each August, we invite everyone connected to St. Thomas to participate in Ministry Signups. This is an opportunity to explore the many ways to serve and let us know where you feel called to share your time and gifts. Whether your passion is worship, formation, hospitality, pastoral care, outreach, fellowship, or behind-the-scenes support, there are opportunities for everyone.
You don’t have to wait until August to get involved, though. Ministry Signups help us plan for the year ahead, but new volunteers are always welcome. Wherever your gifts and passions lie, we’d love to help you find a meaningful way to serve alongside us.
Serve Our Community
Following the example of Jesus, we believe our faith is lived through love in action. At St. Thomas, we partner with schools, nonprofits, and neighborhood organizations to meet practical needs, build meaningful relationships, seek justice, and care for God’s creation. Whether you have an hour to volunteer, a particular skill to share, or simply a heart for serving others, there are many ways to join us as we work alongside our neighbors to help our community flourish.
Serve at St. Thomas
The ministry of St. Thomas is made possible by people who generously share their time, talents, and gifts. Whether serving in worship, welcoming newcomers, caring for children and youth, offering pastoral care, leading a ministry, or working behind the scenes, every act of service helps our parish grow in faith and love. Whatever your gifts or experience, there’s a place for you to serve and be part of the life of our community.
