Welcome Classes are for all who are new to St. Thomas and for those who may have been around for a while but would like a refresher. We are trying a new format. Rather than meet for a few weeks at a time, we will offer welcome classes once a month and repeat topics over the course of the year.
2026 Topics:
- April 12 – Welcome to History – A brief summary of 500+ years of Episcopal Church history that helps explain who we are today
- May 10 – Welcome to Worship – The Church Year and how we celebrate it at St. Thomas
- June 14 – Welcome to Worship – Our Sunday liturgy and the meaning behind our rituals
- July 12 – Welcome to our Facility – A tour of St. Thomas buildings and grounds
- August 9 – Welcome to Ministry – An orientation to our ministry sign up process and how to get involved
- September 12 – Welcome to History
- October 11 – Welcome to Worship: Church Year
- November 8 – Welcome to Worship: Sunday Liturgy
- December 13 – Welcome Breakfast and Welcome Sunday
