Wednesday Dinners
Wednesday dinners are served on a pay-what-you-can basis. Food costs have risen substantially, but we are keeping the suggested donation at $7.50 per adult, $5 for children through grade 5, or $25 per family because we want everyone to participate. If you can pay a little more to help us absorb the increased costs, that will help. Making reservations also helps us prepare the right amount of food and avoid waste. Make a reservation through the Ministry Sign Up form, on the website, or by calling the church office each week by Monday at 3. You may donate at the door or online.
To help control costs, and to help us all eat in a healthy way, we are cutting back on desserts. Dessert will be served at 6 rather than left out during the meal. We’ll serve birthday cake on the first Wednesday of the month. Other Wednesdays, we’ll enjoy fruit or homemade treats.
Chef Stacy will prepare delicious cold meals while we wait for kitchen renovations to be completed, hopefully by September. Menus will be announced ahead of time. Our new kitchen will have a grill, griddle, and more oven space. We appreciate your patience while we complete this culinary transformation.
