About Debbie
Debbie Anderson found a church home at St. Thomas in 1998 after moving to Columbus with her family, Ron and Max. She has sung in the St. Thomas Choir since that time, serving as cantor and soloist, and now as Director of Music. Debbie had the good fortune to work with Rick McKnight during his tenure as organist/ choir director, and is so proud to continue his tradition of excellence in music and worship in the Episcopal tradition. Debbie has been involved in the musical fabric of Columbus as a performer and teacher. She is the Musical Director Emerita at the Springer Opera House, after retiring in 2024. Since 2006, she has been an adjunct faculty at the Schwob School of Music and the CSU Theatre department. Debbie has also served as cantorial soloist and musical director at Temple Israel for many years.
