Easter Season Events
More than any other season of the year, Easter invites us to Rejoice. Easter recognizes that life is not all sunshine. The first proclamation of Easter begins in darkness. We all go through times when rejoicing may seem out of place.
But still, we can Rejoice Now.
Rejoice in the hope of peace in a world bent on war. Rejoice in God’s abundance in the face of scarcity. Rejoice in the promise of life in the midst of death. Rejoice in gifts of community and purpose and growth. Rejoice and sing now, all the round earth, bright with a glorious splendor, for darkness has been vanquished by our eternal King.
Join St. Thomas during Easter Season as we Rejoice Now!
In other churches, this is often “low Sunday.” For us, it is a special day as we hear again the story of St. Thomas!
To celebrate, we will have a BBQ chicken lunch after church in the parish hall and on the grounds.
There will be an Easter Egg hunt outside for children (after all, it is still Easter).
